Mumbai, Jan. 11 -- The Tata Mumbai Marathon will enter its 21st edition on January 18 with a competitive elite field, featuring several international athletes capable of challenging the event records in both men's and women's races, according to a release.
A World Athletics Gold Label Road Race, the Mumbai Marathon has eight men and six women on the start list whose personal best timings are faster than the current course records.
The existing event records have stood since 2023 and are held by Ethiopians Hayle Lemi Berhanu (2:07:32) in the men's category and Anchialem Haymanot (2:24:15) in the women's race.
