Los Angeles, May 10 -- Remembering his late colleague Val Kilmer, Hollywood star Tom Cruise recalled his time on the set of the 1986 film 'Top Gun' with the co-star, and called Kilmer 'a great actor' and 'a charismatic guy.'
In an interview with Deadline, the 'Mission Impossible' spoke about shooting of the film and said that he and director Tony Scott had to do a lot of work to get the 'Tombstone' and 'The Doors' actor on board.
"I felt so grateful that he (Tony Scott) decided to make the film. We did a lot to get him in the movie.
