Ranchi, Jan. 27 -- Deliberations at a district-level training programme underscored the urgent need for strict enforcement of tobacco control laws, coordinated inter-departmental action, and sustained awareness to curb tobacco consumption and its adverse impact on society.
The training programme was organised under the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) at the Civil Surgeon Office Auditorium to strengthen tobacco control measures across the district. The programme was chaired by Seema Gupta, District Nodal Officer, NTCP.
