Chennai, Dec. 12 -- The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association
(TNCA) today thanked the State government for extending
the lease of the Chepauk Cricket Stadium by 21 years,
paving the way for reopening the sealed I, J and K stands
after regularising the setbacks in the stadium.
In a statement here, TNCA President Ms Rupa Gurunath said
the members, the management, including Ms Rupa and Honorary
Secretary R S Ramaswamy express their grateful appreciation
to the Tamil Nadu government for having extended the lease
of the Chepauk cricket stadium to the TNCA for 21 years.
