Dindigul, March 3 -- Unidentified miscreants vandalised two stone idols in Sri Rama Perumal Temple at Lakshmi Nagar on the Dindigul-Karur road in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu in the wee hours of Monday.
Police said the idols of deities of Lord Ganesha and Lord Sri Garudalwar were found damaged in the respective shrines, when the priest opened the temple this morning for performing routine pujas.
Police visited the temple and examined the CCTV footage collected from the nearby places to identify and arrest the culprits.
Thadikombu police have registered a case and are investigating.
