Chennai, March 15 -- Union Minister for Electronics & IT, Railways, and Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnav on Saturday inaugurated a new manufacturing facility of
Zetwerk Electronics near here and announced that Tamil Nadu will get two major Electronic manufacturing clusters at a cost of Rs 1,112 crore.
Speaking after inaugurating Zetwerk's 7th factory at Sriperumbudur, about 45 km from here,
he said the two clusters would come up at at Pillaipakkam and Manallur to help growth of
electronic manufacturing in the State in a big way.
He also reaffirmed the Centre's commitment to support Indian companies in becoming global
leaders.
