Chennai, Nov. 29 -- More than 300 people, including many from Tamil Nadu, havebeen stranded in the Cyclone Ditwah battered Sri Lanka after heavy rains forced thesuspension of flight services on Saturday.
The passengers, who are from various destinations, were stranded at the BandaranaikeInternational Airport in Colombo due to absence of flight services.
Acting on information, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has directed the authoritiesto take all steps to facilitate the safe return of Tamils back to the State.
The Tamil Nadu's Public Department Secretary was coordinating with the Indian HighCommission in Colombo on the Chief Minister's instructions to facilitate their safe return.
