Chennai, April 4 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a crucial strategy meeting with Tamil Nadu BJP core committee members here on Saturday to devise the election and the campaign strategy for the April 23 Assembly elections.
The closed-door session, held at a star hotel in Guindy where Mr Modi stayed overnight upon his return after holding a road show in Puducherry, focused on strengthening grassroots mobilisation and improving coordination with alliance partners.
The meeting is seen as part of the BJP's broader plan to sharpen its campaign in a state where it is seeking to expand its political footprint.
