Chennai, March 4 -- Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Minister Ma.Subramanian
met Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J.P.Nadda in New Delhi and submitted
a Memorandum on important issues relating to the State Health Department on Tuesday.
The memorandum contained nine demands pertaining to the State Health department,
an official release here said.
Among the demands highlighted in the memorandum were admission Policy in Medicine
and Opposition to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), request for a new AIIMS
Hospital in Coimbatore; establishment of new Government Medical Colleges in six districts,
request for sanction of 24 Urban, 26 Rural Primary Health Centres and 500 Health
Sub Centres in Tamil Nadu; objectio...
