Chennai, Feb. 11 -- The Idol Wing CID of the Tamil Nadu police today seized twostolen ancient metal idols of Lord Sudharsanar (Lord Vishnu) and Goddess Devi andarrested four people in this connection.
The idols were seized during a surprise vehicle checks conducted by a special teamon the Thanjavur-Chennai National Highway adjacent to Valayapettai village.
A release from from the Idol Wing CID said on specific information obtained by higherofficials, a team lead by ADSP-Trichy G. Balamurugan and comprising of Sub-InspectorDhandayudhapani, Thanjavur Range along with his other team members conducted asurprise vehicle check at the Thanjavur-Chennai National Highway.
