Chennai, April 25 -- Launching a blistering and stinging attack on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, further amid the simmering differences between the Government and the Raj Bhavan on a host of issues, Governor R N Ravi on Friday evening said his act of preventing Vice-Chancellors of State Universities from participating in the conference convened by him at Udhagmandalam, reminisces the days of Emergency.

In a social media post after a sharp attack on the government earlier in his address and the two-day conference, Mr Ravi wrote on X "The way Hon'ble CM Thiru. Stalin used police to deter the Vice-Chancellors of state universities from participating in the prescheduled conference today is reminiscent of the Emergency days."
