Chennai, Oct. 19 -- Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi today greeted the people onthe eve of Festival of Lights--Diwali.
In a social media post, he said "on the auspicious occasion of Deepavali, heartfeltgreetings to our sisters and brothers of Tamil Nadu.""Deepavali celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, righteousness over eviland wisdom over ignorance", the Governor wrote.
"May Maa Lakshmi bless us with happiness, health and prosperity, filling ourlives with love and compassion and fostering a harmonious society rooted inpeace and oneness", he added.
"Wishing everyone a joyous, vibrant and safe Deepavali!", Mr Ravi said.
