Chennai, March 14 -- The Tamil Nadu government will set up nine Industrial Estates across the State for the benefit of MSMEs, at a cost of Rs 366 crore, Finance Minister Thangam Thennarsu told the State Assembly on Friday.

Presenting the Budget for the year 2025-26 in the State Assembly, he said to benefit micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs across the state, the Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation (SIDCO) will establish new industrial estates at 9 locations this year.

The new Industrial Estates will come up at Thirumudivakkam in Kanchipuram district, Saram and Nayanur in Villupuram district, Nagampalli in Karur district, Sooriyur in Tiruchirappalli district, Karuttapuliyampatti in Madurai district, Thanichyam i...
