Chennai, March 14 -- The Tamil Nadu will formulate a Bovine Breeding policy to enhance livestock resources, which play a crucial role in the country's economy and contribute to increased employment opportunities, Finance Minister Thangam Thennarsu told the State Assembly on Friday.

Presenting the Budget for the year 2025-26 in the House, he said to implement this policy effectively, efforts of various field workers engaged in livestock development will be coordinated, ensuring a balanced and systematic breeding process.
