Chennai, July 26 -- In a major boost to Tamil Nadu's infrastructure and development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tonight inaugurated the new Terminal building at Tuticorin airport and launched a slew of projects, providing a big fillip to economic development in southern districts.
Soon after his arrival from Maldives and after a brief reception at the airport, Mr Modi laid the foundation stone, inaugurated and dedicated to the nation various development projects worth
over Rs 4800 crores in the southern Tuticorin district of the State.
