TN firm made cough Syrup deaths in MP: EPS says it exposes DMK's laxity, demands accountability

Chennai, Oct. 9 -- AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the OppositionEdappadi K Palaniswami today demanded accountability on the part of the rulingDMK for its laxity that led to deaths of 20 children in Madhya Pradesh after beingadministered the toxic-mixed Coldrif cough syrup being manufactured by a TamilNadu-based pharma firm.

In a statement here, he said the tragedy exposed the DMK government's totalregulatory collapse.
