Chennai, Sept. 4 -- Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu today welcomed theGoods and Services Tax (TAX) rate rationalisation reforms, while expressing concern overprotection of State's revenue.
The rate rationalisation reforms was decided at the 56th GST Council meeting chaired by unionFinance Minister Ms Nirmala Sithraman in New Delhi.
Mr Thennrasu welcomed the reforms including the exemption of individual life insurance andindividual health insurance services.
In a statement here, Mr Thennarasu, who attended the meeting, welcomed the GST raterationalization reforms including the exemption of individual life insurance and individualhealth insurance services.
