Chennai, Aug. 2 -- In yet another pioneering initiative aimed at providing quality and affordable
healthcare to the people in rural areas on par with those urban populace, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
M K Stalin today launched 'Nalam Kakkum Stalin' programme in the city.
Under this flagship programme, 1,256 medical camps will be organised on all Saturdays across all
the 38 districts of the state in the presence of district officials and elected representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Stalin said education and healthcare was the two eyes of his Dravidian
Model governance and that his government was clearly focussed on ensuring that people living in villages get quality healthcare on par with those in urban areas.
