Chennai, Feb. 12 -- The first session of the New Year of the Tamil Nadu Assembly which commenced on Monday with the customary Governor's address, will continue till February 22.
A decision to this effect was taken at the Business Advisory Committee meeting chaired by Speaker M.Appavu at his Chamber in which floor leaders of various parties participated.
Talking to reporters after the meeting, Mr Appavu said tomorrow after adopting obituary references in respect of five people, including former TN Governor Ms Fathima Beevi and DMDK Founder and former MLA Vijayakanth, the debate on the motion of thanks to the Governor for his address would be held.
