Pudukottai (Tamil Nadu), March 8 -- Three people, including a couple were killed and four others grievously injured in a multiple-vehicle collision involving two cars and a mini truck at Namanasamudram on the Tiruchirapalli-Karaikudi National Highway in Pudukottai district of Tamil Nadu on Saturday.
Police said the accident occurred, when a car driven by Senthamil Selvan collided head-on with a Tata Ace mini truck and then crashed into another car coming in the opposite direction.
Senthamil Selvan, his wife Aruna and Sudhakar, cleaner of the mini truck died on the spot in the impact of the collision.
