Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Feb. 20 -- In a tragic incident, a Railway station master died at Kalligudi Railway station in Madurai district, after he slipped while boarding a moving train on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Anusekhar (32), who was working as the station master in Kalligudi railway station, Government Railway Police said.
He slipped and fell into the space between the platform, and the coach, while attempting to board the Sengottai-Erode Express Train, when it started moving from the station.
He was hit by the moving train and died on the spot. Further investigations were on.
