Nagapattinam, Feb. 22 -- The International ferry service between Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu and Kankesanthurai in Sri Lanka resumed on Saturday.

Official sources said the ferry 'Sivagangai' departed from Nagapattinam Port Passenger Terminal with 83 passengers, after special prayers.

The ferry will be operated on a daily basis, except on Tuesdays.

The ferry has a maximum seating capacity of 150 passengers with a free luggage of 10 kilograms per passenger, while paid luggage is allowed up to 60 kilograms per passenger during their voyage.
