Agartala, Oct. 9 -- A six-member delegation from Trinamool Congress, headed by Minister of State for Forests and Consumer Affairs Birbaha Hansda, arrived in the city this morning to assess the situation following last evening's vandalism at their state office, which is reportedly attributed to Yuba Morcha (youth) cadres of the ruling BJP. BJP workers escalated tensions during a rally protesting the recent alleged attack on BJP MP Khagen Murmu in West Bengal, which took place two days prior, while he was distributing relief goods. In the presence of a significant police force, a group of BJP supporters launched vandalism on the TMC office located at Chittaranjan Road in Agartala.
