Kolkata, Dec. 21 -- : A day before announcing his own political outfit to contest the West Bengal Assembly elections in early 2026, Trinamool Congress MLA Humayun Kabir was suspended from the party on Sunday. Kabir on Sunday revealed key details of his proposed party, including a 75-member state committee and a three-word name.

The Bharatpur assembly segment legislator, who visited the site for the proposed Babri Masjid replica at Rejinagar to monitor the final arrangements, said he got all police permission for holding the meeting as his followers would start coming from early hours on Monday.
