Kolkata, Nov. 20 -- West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha member Kalyan Banerjee on Wednesday filed an FIR against Governor CV Ananda Bose to probe his activity in the Raj Bhavan, an unprecedented move that happened barely 24 hours after the gubernatorial office lodged the FIR for the MP's alleged inflammatory statement against Bose.

The four-time MP from Srirampur in the Hooghly district, advocate Kalyan Banerjee, in association with a lawyer, appeared during the day at the Hare Street Police station in central Kolkata and filed the FIR against Dr CV Ananda Bose. The five-page FIR filed with specific allegations in paragraphs was filed against Dr CV Anada Bose, without mentioning his Constitutional post as the Governor.
