Kolkata, Dec. 29 -- A high-level Trinamool Congress (TMC) delegation including three ministers and two MPS met West Bengal's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Monoj Agarwal on Monday and asked the commission to publish the discrepancy list of voters.
The delegation including Member of Parliament Partha Bhowmik and Bapi Halder, State Ministers Sashi Panja, Pulok Roy Birbaha Hansda, placed a series of demands and objections regarding the ongoing verification process of the voters' list and the manner in which hearings are being conducted.
During the meeting, the leaders expressed serious concerns over what they described as large-scale discrepancies in the electoral rolls and the Election Commission's handling of the issue.
