Kolkata, Nov. 25 -- A sit-in-demonstration by a 10-member delegation of Trinamool Congress (TMC)-backed BLO Adhikar Raksha Committee continued for the second day on Tuesday inside the State Election Office at Dalhousie Square seeking an appointment with state CEO Manoj Agarwal to protest against "excessive work pressure" and long hours.
Additional Chief Electoral Officer Dibyendu Das was seen on Monday talking to the delegation leader and Convenor Maidul Islam and requested all to sit inside the chamber instead of occupying the lobby, a thoroughfare for entry and exit of the election headquarters.
