Tirupati, Dec. 25 -- TTDs Sri Venkateswara (SV) Balamandir, has been playing a pivotal role in transforming the lives of orphaned and underprivileged children by providing comprehensive care, education and value-based upbringing.
Established in 1943 as SV Orphanage, the institution was renamed SV Balamandir in 1961 by former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru with the objective of ensuring holistic development of orphaned children, a release stated.
