Shillong, May 16 -- Tiranga Yatra was held in here in Meghalaya on Friday to honour and express solidarity with armed forces who defended the nation during the recent hostilities with Pakistan.
Senior BJP leaders including Meghalaya Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Minister, Alexander Laloo Hek, religious leaders, civil society groups and community leaders took part in the Tiranga Yatra which started from BJP headquarters here in Meghalaya to the Rhino Prerna Sthal.
Armed with the Indian flag, people yatra, people raised loud slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', 'Armed Forces Zindabad' and 'Pakistan Murdabad',
