Agartala, July 5 -- BJP's junior partner in Tripura government, TIPRA Motha today threatened to withdraw support from the state government alleging non-compliance with the promises made ahead of last year's Loksabha elections.
If the TIPRA Motha does decide to withdraw support, it would not make the government minority, but reduce its strength and will get weaken in tribal areas. In the 60 member Tripura assembly, BJP has 33 MLAs and its ally IPFT has one and Motha has 13 MLAs while CPI-M and Congress have 13 and 3 MLAs respectively.
