Los Angeles, Jan. 12 -- 'Marty Supreme' added another accolade to its growing list of achievements on Sunday night as Timothee Chalamet won his first-ever Golden Globe Award.

Chalamet earned the honour for his performance as a fast-talking driven table tennis player in the comedy film Marty Supreme. The win marks his first Golden Globe victory following several previous nominations, according to Variety.

The actor had earlier been nominated for 'Call Me By Your Name', 'Beautiful Boy', 'Wonka', and 'A Complete Unknown', but had left the ceremony empty-handed each time, making this win particularly meaningful.
