Dharamshala, March 24 -- District Election Officer (Panchayat) and Deputy Commissioner Kangra, Hemraj Bairwa, on Monday announced a time-bound schedule for the preparation of electoral rolls in the district, following the reorganization and delimitation of panchayats and urban local bodies.
He said that clear guidelines have been issued for drafting the electoral rolls, which will come into effect after the completion of the delimitation process.
As per the directions of the State Election Commission, the voter lists will be prepared afresh after the final publication of delimitation, ensuring a transparent and time-bound process.
