Dubai, Nov. 4 -- New Zealand have suffered a setback at the West Indies, with wicketkeeper-batter Tim Seifert ruled out after sustaining a fractured right index finger during domestic cricket earlier this week.
As per the International Cricket Council (ICC), Seifert retired hurt after being struck by a delivery while batting for Northern Districts, with an X-ray on his right index finger revealing the injury.
In Seifert's absence, Mitch Hay has been named in the squad, though Devon Conway could take the gloves and beat out Hay to a spot in the starting XI.
