Patna, Jan. 24 -- RJD MLA Bhai Birendra on Saturday alleged that tickets were sold by some leaders of his party in recent Bihar assembly elections, which led to its debacle and needed a thorough investigation to fix responsibilities.

Virendra told media that genuine candidates were not given opportunities to contest elections by RJD due to suspected role of some party leaders. A senior leader was holding the charge of party affairs of three districts -- Rohtas, Kaimur and Buxar but he was not socialist in his behaviour, conduct and principles, he added.
