Bhopal, May 6 -- The weather has taken a sudden turn in various parts of Madhya Pradesh, bringing with it thunderstorms, rain, and hail in several districts over the past 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday.
Strong winds blew at a speed of 80-85 km per hour in Harda, Sagar, and Sehore districts. Narasimhapur also experienced intense lightning and rain, the IMD bulletin said.
The department has forecast strong winds, rain, and hail in the southwestern parts of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the weather has also changed suddenly in Bhopal and Indore over the past two days, with thunderstorms and showers in the afternoon.
