Hyderabad, Oct. 6 -- Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speed ranging from 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next five days, the Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places or at isolated places over the state during the next seven days.
The Southwest monsoon was active over Telangana.
Heavy rainfall occurred at few places in Kamareddy and at isolated places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jagtial, Medak, Nalgonda, Nirmal, Sangareddy districts of the state during the next 24 hours.
Rain occurred at many places over Telangana during the same period, the report added.
