Imphal, March 15 -- Heavy rainfall, accompanied with strong wind uprooted houses, electric poles in the state on Sunday. Chief Minister Y Khemchand has instructed officials on high alert as more rainfall is expected in the next few days.
Warning was issued forecasting thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds. Officials said thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, gusty winds of 40-60 kmph and rainfall of 5-15 mm per hour are likely to occur in the state.
