Thrissur, Jan. 6 -- Thrissur is gearing up for the grand 64th edition of the Kerala State School Kalolsavam, the world's largest youth cultural festival, to be held from January 14 to 18, 2026. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the festival on January 14 morning and actor Mohanlal will be the chief guest at the concluding day on January 18.
Preparations are in full swing in the "Cultural Capital of Kerala" as the city prepares to host over 15,000 students from across the state. The participants will compete in 249 artistic events-spanning music, dance, drama, and visual arts-celebrating Kerala's vibrant cultural heritage.
