Ghaziabad, April 17 -- A tragic road accident claimed the lives of three young men on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway near the IPEM College exit point in Ghaziabad early Friday morning.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. when the victims had stopped their Thar SUV at the exit point and were asking a motorcyclist for directions. During this time, a speeding traveller bus carrying passengers lost control and rammed into them.
Police sources suggest that the bus driver may have dozed off at the wheel, resulting in delayed braking and the fatal collision. The impact was severe, leading to the death of all three individuals on the spot.
