Nashik, Aug. 9 -- A three-years-old boy was killed when a leopard attacked and dragged him at Vadner Dumala village near Deolali camp on Friday night, police said today.
The boy was identified as Ayush Kiran Bhagat (3).
Ayush and his sister Shraya were playing in the courtyard of the house. When Shraya went inside the house, a leopard attacked and dragged Ayush and took him to the field. Their parents did not find Ayush near the house.
The parents found blood outside the back door of the house and the boy's pants at some distance. The incident is understood to have been reported by local people's representatives, police teams, forest department and village youths who started looking for the boy.
