Mau, Nov. 20 -- A road accident in Mau on Thursday morning claimed the lives of three women and left seven members of the same family, including children, seriously injured. The incident took place near the Sheetla Mata Temple in the South Tola police station area.
The CCTV footage showed a high-speed state transport (roadways) bus approaching from the opposite direction before violently crashing into an oncoming e-rickshaw. The impact was so severe that the rickshaw was torn apart, with its parts scattered across the road. The passengers were flung several feet away due to the force of the collision.
