Pune, Aug. 15 -- Three employees of a telecom firm died due to inhaling noxious gas inside a drain near BHEL Chowk in Pune's Pimpri Chinchwad area this afternoon.

The incident occurred while four employees of a telecom company were repairing wires at the site.

According to police, three workers opened the drain lid and descended inside to conduct repairs.

When they failed to respond after a prolonged period, the fourth worker raised an alarm, alerting nearby residents. Pune Police, along with a fire brigade team, rushed to the location upon receiving the alert.
