Gadchiroli, Nov. 24 -- : The Maharashtra-Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh (MMC) committee of the Naxal organization has appealed to the Chief Ministers of the three states for time until February 15, 2026 to facilitate the surrender of its remaining members. The request was issued through a press statement by committee spokesperson Anant.

According to the statement, the group is under increasing pressure following the surrender of senior leaders Bhupathi, Rupesh and several cadres last week, as well as the recent killing of central committee member Hidma in an encounter.

The committee claims these events have created an atmosphere of fear within its ranks, prompting discussions about surrender across various internal units.
