Alwar, June 3 -- Three software engineers were arrested for running an online betting syndicate that allegedly duped people through online betting apps, in Alwar district of Rajasthan, police said on Tuesday.



Additional Superintendent of Police Tejpal Singh said the accused had a network spread across several states, including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, with over 60,000 agents and players involved.



The police have found active IDs worth Rs 150 crore, with most transactions being done through virtual currency.
