Chandigarh, Oct. 31 -- In a coordinated operation, Punjab Police's Counter Intelligence Wing in Bathinda, along with the local police, arrested three operatives associated with the banned organisation Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) for allegedly writing pro-Khalistan slogans on school walls in Bhissiana and Mananwala villages.

According to the Punjab DGP, the accused were acting under the direction of the US-based SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. Preliminary investigations indicate that the arrested individuals were involved in painting inflammatory slogans aimed at provoking unrest and promoting anti-national sentiments.
