New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- Nobel Prize for Chemistry this year will be shared by three scientists from Japan, Australia and the US for development of a new form of molecular architecture, the Nobel Committee announced today.

Susumu Kitagawa of Kyoto University, Japan, Richard Robson of the University of Melbourne, Australia, and Omar M. Yaghi of University of California, Berkeley, US were named for the coveted awardThe Nobel Committee said in a release that the three laureates have created molecular constructions with large spaces through which gases and other chemicals can flow.
