Kolkata, Nov. 24 -- Three pre-teen children were killed and two others injured when the pool car bringing them home from a private kindergarten school plunged into a pond near the Bahira crematorium area of Uluberia in West Bengal's Howrah district on Friday.
Local villagers immediately rescued the injured children and rushed them to a nearby hospital, where three of the students were declared dead. The two survivors were admitted for treatment.
One of the rescuers said that among the five boys, three were unconscious when they were taken to the hospital.
