Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), April 25 -- In a tragic incident, three Physiotherapy students met
a watery grave while taking bath in the Aliyar River near Pollachi in Coimbatore district of Tamil
Nadu on Friday.
Police said the deceased were identified as M.Revanth (21), G.Joseph Anton Jeniff (21) and
P.Tharun Viswatharangan (21), all studying final year in Saveetha College of Physiotherapy
at Chennai.
A group of 28 students, including 14 girls of the college, had gone to Coimbatore to attend a
cultural event in a private college on Thursday.
After attending the cultural event, the students went to Aliyar for a picnic, where some of them
took bath in the Aliyar River.
