Kolkata, April 23 -- At least three individuals from West Bengal, including an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer, lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The victims have been identified as Samir Guha, Bitan Adhikari and Manish Ranjan. Guha and Adhikari were residents of Kolkata, while Ranjan hailed from the Purulia district and was serving as an IB officer in Hyderabad.

Bitan Adhikari, an IT professional employed by a multinational company in Florida, USA, was among the 25 people killed in the attack.
