Hyderabad, Aug. 12 -- The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday caught three government officials in separate bribery cases in Vikarabad, Peddapalli, and Mancherial districts.
In the first case, ACB's Ranga Reddy unit apprehended Ms K Sujatha, Junior Assistant at the Vikarabad District Collector's Office, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from a complainant.
The amount was allegedly taken for processing land-related documents and sending the Collector's order to the concerned Tahsildar for inclusion of the complainant's mother's name in government-allotted land records.
The bribe money was recovered, and chemical tests on her fingers proved positive. She has been arrested and sent to judicial remand.
